As you can see we are not a designer
pub. We don’t posses a leather sofa and we can’t afford mood lighting.

What we do is keep the pub clean and
tidy, sell some nice ales, bottled Belgian beer, traditional cider and some rather nice wine. We light the fire
in the winter, throw open the windows and doors in the summer.

Last year we got to work with forks, spades, pruners, loppers, drills, hammers and nails.
The result of all of this frenzied activity was to create a garden from what was pretty well a wilderness. During the summer it’s great to see folks enjoying a beer, some of our famous beer battered fish and chips and relaxing in the sun (or rain).
