The White Lion Inn.

In the past we have always tried to serve nice food. We have even been complimented on our fish and chips, homemade pie, bangers and mash etc. But time and again we came back to the same inescapable fact. Our biggest selling food items were always our homemade scotch eggs, the crusty baguettes and rolls, the pork pies and the hot pies and chips.

So we decided that rather than fight the tide we are embracing our customer’s needs.

Come and try one of our Scotch Eggs, freshly filled crusty cobs, hot pies served with a bowl of crisp chips, one of Reg May’s award winning pork pies with some hot English mustard, all washed down with a pint of one of the country’s best ales served to perfection. It doesn’t get any better than that.
